Dog Sled tours (4h) incl. outdoor lunch

Experience it all – the enthusiastic, yet super friendly Alaskan huskies, the Nordic wilderness and a typical Swedish outdoor lunch prepared by open fire.

On this hands-on 4-hour dog sled tour, you will learn to run your own team of huskies and get an interesting insight into the musher’s adventurous life. After an introduction to equipment and safety, the journey through the wintry landscape begins. Over frozen marshes, crossing lakes and follow trails that only a few have set foot on before. The snowy plains give you a feeling of freedom and the energy from the eager sled dogs fills the air. You stop at a cozy wilderness cabin halfway through the tour where you are served a traditional warm lunch.

Dog sled kennel

The dog sled kennel has more than 20 year experience. Starting with taking part in middle distance races and nowadays participating in several long-distance races like the “Tobacco Trail” a sled dog race in northern Sweden, with distances varying between 150-300km.

Alaskan Husky

The Alaskan Husky is a sled dog bred for working ability and not for the looks. Alaskan Huskies are built for different types of sledding: some are sprinters, going quickly over short distances; and some are long-distance runners.

Maximum 4 persons can participate on this 4hour dog sled tour, which gives you a unique personal experience. You set of in pairs, 2 persons a sledge where you have the possibility to turn places during the tour.
