Located 200km north of Arctic Circle, Kiruna is Sweden’s northernmost city. It keeps Sweden’s highest mountain Kebnekaise and has the world’s largest underground iron-ore mine. It’s location inside the Auroral oval is perfect for Northern Lights viewing. Kiruna is a part of Sápmi and has been home for many generations of Sámi people.

Arrival Day
Your journey begins in Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost city, 200km above the Arctic Circle. A short transfer takes you to the centrally located Elite Frost Kiruna, where you’ll settle into your comfortable room with wintery views. The rest of the day is yours—stroll the snowy streets, unwind in the hotel’s panorama bar, and embrace the peaceful rhythm of Lapland. If skies are clear, watch for the Northern Lights shimmering above the rooftops.
Day 2 – Dogsledding & Rooftop Spa
Start your day with an Arctic adventure: a 2.5-hour dogsledding tour through Kiruna’s winter wilderness. Wrapped in warm gear, you’ll ride a wooden sled pulled by huskies and a professional musher. Glide silently across frozen landscapes, taking in nature’s beauty. Afterward, explore nearby shops and restaurants. In the evening, unwind at Vana Spa, soaking in warm pools and saunas as twilight settles over the Arctic horizon.
Day 3 – Snow Festival & ICEHOTEL
After breakfast, explore the Snow Festival, strolling through the International Snow Sculpture Competition, where artists transform the city into an open-air gallery. In the afternoon, visit the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi—admire its breathtaking ice art and beautifully sculpted suites. Don’t miss the ICEBAR, where even your cocktail glass is made of ice. In the evening, add an optional Aurora safari to complete your Arctic adventure.
Day 4 – Northern Lights Hunt
Add a final touch of adventure to your holiday at the Snow Festival, where the Snow Blower World Championships offer fast-paced winter fun. Day 5 – Departure Day
