Flora and fauna

You will get to share time and meet a passionate local guide who lived and worked in this environment for years. During the hike you will learn about the flora, fauna and about the unique history of the region. From one of the areas, the highest point is more then 130 meters above sea level, this mountain used to be a small island in the sea. During recent years more then 200 species of plants have been discovered and you can even find a sparse pine forest with a number of 400-year-old pines in this area.

Photography, fungi or birds

As with all our guided tours, we keep our group sizes small and take a flexible approach to ensure we can accommodate everyone’s abilities. If you have a specific purpose, whether it’s photography, fungi or birds or you would like to travel at a pace you wish, a privately guided trip is the perfect solution.

We recommend supportive hiking boots. Some walks do require them due to wet or hilly terrain where the support and traction from boots is essential for your comfort and safety.
